Book Review: Thor- Touched By Thunder by E. J. Squires

⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️5 out of 5 stars

Hunky Norse gods. A battle to delay Ragnarök. A romance that literally sparks off the page… “Thor- Touched by Thunder” by E. J. Squires has a lot of greatness going for it.

Following the death of the aunt who raised her, Ingrid relocates from Florida to San Francisco to be near her brother. On the plane ride there, Ingrid wins the seat-next-door lottery! From the first moment she lays eyes on William, the attraction is obvious. But with a master’s thesis to finish and a new city to settle into, a relationship is the last thing she’s looking for. So when the plane lands, she bids farewell to her gorgeous companion. Luckily for Ingrid (and us as readers) Fate has other plans; her new landlord is none other than the glorious William. Despite her resolve, Ingrid finds herself falling for William. But he has secrets. Big secrets. If the title hasn’t given it away, William is really the god Thor and he’s here on earth to wage battle to prevent Ragnarök.

E. J. Squires has fashioned a really gripping story in “Thor- Touched by Thunder.” The chemistry between Ingrid and William / Thor was amazing. I found myself reading well into the night, unwilling to put the book down. The romance was stellar! But if you take away the romance, the remaining plot was still excellent. Peppered with Norse mythology, gods, and goddesses it’s an addictive story with the fate of earth and mankind in the balance. Lovers of fantasy and romance will be entranced by this marvelous tale. A highly enjoyable read.
